Steve Gregory - Security advisor and Managing Director
Steve Gregory as Managing Director of Economic Security Consultants provides direction and advice on Counter Terrorist and Security issues that impact upon Corporate, National and International strategies.
He is a full member of the European Energy and Transport Forum providing information and advice on the strategic lead for the security of Critical Infrastructure Networks and was instrumental in the establishment of the Forums Working Group on Installation Security and Safety.
Career development gained through:
- United Kingdom Police Service: 12 years experience in Counter Terrorism, Counter Espionage and Counter Proliferation, Industrial Security and Critical Infrastructure working for the UK Police Special Branch.
- Provision of advice to the UK Cabinet Office on implementation strands of the UK Government's Counter Terrorist Strategy establishing a number of pilot work programmes creating the delivery methodology for wider implementation at UK and EU level
- Working in partnership with other UK and EU Government Security Advisors to develop increased and improved protective security advice to critical infrastructure networks
- Chairman of the United Kingdom Eastern Region Counter Terrorist Security Advisors group
- Circuit Lecturer for courses provided by the Government Security Advisors for senior representatives within the Energy Industry
Steve Gregory has worked for many years within the critical areas of UK's energy supply arena, which has involved the development of relationships across the wider European Union, by providing increased and improved protective security advice. Work undertaken has included the development of Integrated Security Advice forming part of physical security systems designed to protect against terrorist attack and hostile intrusion within the Oil and Gas sector. Systems developed include the protection of hazardous material against mass casualty attack.

Harry Marks - Director of Operation
Harry Marks was formerly a senior officer with the London Fire and Civil Defence Authority where he gained experience with the management of operational and emergency incidents. These essential skills were further developed during a period of business consultancy providing Emergency Response training to the onshore and offshore Oil and Gas industry. He wrote and facilitated emergency exercises for evaluating operational procedures relating to the Critical Energy Infrastructure supply for the UK.
During this period of business consultancy, he extended his portfolio into Health and Safety providing advice and support specializing in Risk Assessments and the preparation of safety documents for commercial and industrial organizations.
Harry then joined the staff of a multi-national Oil and Gas Exploration company and became responsible for the Business Services department including the security of the company's UK Southern North Sea operations for the on and offshore gas production operations including the company's installation in the Netherlands.
His role as Operations Manager for Economic Security Consultants provides a pivotal position which capitalizes on his facilitation and organizational skills.

Sharon McHugh - Director of Business Services
Sharon McHugh started her career in the Health Sector and built on her skills to become a Paramedic and Advanced CPR instructor working in the UK and North America with additional experience in health and safety as well as sign skills for those with hearing and sight disabilities.
After an approach to move into the marketing of prescriptive medications and pharmaceuticals in the USA, Sharon built a successful career as a marketing professional as Director of Marketing and Communications, managing a multi-million dollar budget covering all aspects of media buying, TV, radio and print, event management, promotion and sponsorship.
Sharon then decided to run her own business in New York City, again managing multi-million dollar budgets for a diverse range of clients including Mike Bloomberg, for whom she executed a successful political placements program targeted within the Hispanic marketplace.
Returning to the UK in 2004 Sharon ran the East Anglia division of a multinational company as General Manager. Sharon joined ESC as Director of Business Services in 2007 and is responsible for managing the firm's expectations as they reflect to - services, marketing, staffing, project management and the financial advancement of the company.
Sharon has a strong commercial background and brings a customer facing professionalism to her role with high standards of excellence and delivery.

Alison Lyall - Company Secretary and Financial Adviser
Alison Lyall is a former banking regulator, financial markets consultant, corporate strategist and senior manager. She has been trained at the Bank of England in banking supervision (now the FSA) ensuring compliance with legislative and policy guidelines by US, UK merchant and clearing banks licensed in the UK. She was involved in developing policy at EU level for large exposures and risk-based capital adequacy.
As a senior consultant in the Financial Markets, Alison worked on risk management, compliance and strategic projects in the UK, Continental Europe and Russia. She then joined a major UK bank to work at Board level on strategic initiatives in the areas of Risk management, Corporate restructuring, Business development and performance management issues.
She has also gained experience in retail offshore banking, insurance and the offshore investment sector including the wholesale division which provided experience through close involvement to establish overseas offices in the US, Hong Kong, Japan and Australia.

Paul Tobin - Secuirty Advisor
Paul Tobin, as a Security Advisor for Economic Security Consultants provides advice on Counter Terrorist and security issues affecting both national and international interests.
Paul has a solid background of working for many years within the Counter Terrorist sphere having been involved in industrial security, providing expertise to the oil and gas industries in respect of physical security systems in matters of counter terrorism and hostile intrusion.
12 years experience in Counter Terrorism, Counter Espionage, Counter Proliferation, Industrial Security and Critical Infrastructure working for the UK Police Special Branch.
A member of the Joint Intelligence Group in relation to terrorist matters having worked closely with UK military and scientific specialists to resolve terrorists incidents.
He has worked with UK Government Security Advisors to develop and improve protective security advice to critical infrastructure networks.
A trained analyst within the National Security Arena providing guidance and advice on counter terrorism matters.
